It is the friction between global supply chains and techno-nationalism; between "light on crime" urban policy and the physical safety of our streets; between the aesthetic of a "modern city" and the hard reality of increasingly complex security requirements.
Why Strategic Friction?
My name is Luciano Cedrone, and I built my career in the friction zones. From the front-lines of emergency response, organized crime and Intelligence to boardrooms and business, I’ve seen what happens when the "rule book" fails in the face of reality.
We’ve watched the progression from peaceful protest to physical intimidation and assault. We’ve seen "de-escalation" become a euphemism for "surrender." And while conditions on the ground continue to evolve; most organizations continue to use old style security for modern day problems. This newsletter offers the correction.
